Munda Biddi Trail Update
The Munda Biddi Trail already runs from Mundaring in the hills east of Perth to Manjimup 120km north of Walpole; with the Albany to Denmark section opening on 20th of May 2012 between 12pm & 2.30pm at the Denmark Visitor Centre.
The final sections of the track between Denmark & Walpole and Manjimup & Walpole are expected to be finished early next year with a grand opening taking place in Walpole.
The Walpole Lodge is the first Accredited Cycle friendly business in Walpole; some of our facilities for Mountain Bikers include a train station style storage shed for bikes, a bike repair station (with a bench mounted bike stand), various spare parts and bike washing facilities. We offer a free drop off or pick up for Munda Biddi riders who are staying with us.
There are a number of existing trails in Walpole that are suitable for mountain bikes; we have a map at the Walpole Lodge that we’d be happy to pass on.
