  • The minimum stay is 3 nights and at peak times is 5 nights.

  • Yes, we have a Nespresso machine. Compatible coffee pods can be purchased from the IGA. Some coffee pods, coffee granules, tea bags & sugar are also provided.  Two of the classic style expresso coffee pots that you prepare on the stovetop can also be found in the kitchen. 

  • Yes, the laundry is located off the back verandah, where you will find a washing machine, dryer, a laundry trough & pegs.  A large clothesline can also be found in the backyard. 

  • Check-in is from 2pm.  Check-out is from 10am.  Please contact us in advance if you wish to check-in or check-out outside of these times. 

  • No, you will need to bring your own.

  • Linen, Towels, Soap, toilet paper.  Some coffee pods, coffee granules, tea bags & sugar are also provided.  We often have a selection of spices you are welcome to use in the spice box.  As well as any herbs you can find in the garden. 

  • Sorry no pets are allowed at this property.  Also please note that Walpole is surrounded by National Parks and no pets are allowed within them due to the potential impact on native wildlife and the risk from 1080 poison baits used to control feral animals.

  • Our traditional reception will be un-manned during your stay.  However, if you have any queries or concerns you can contact us on our mobiles or send an email to info@walpolelodge.com.au.  We have keyless entry on arrival – the code will be sent to your phone on the day of your arrival.  There is also an information manual with tips.

  • 10% is non-refundable

    25% cancellation charge if cancelled between 7 & 21 days prior to arrival

    100% cancellation charge if cancelled with less than 7 days notice

    If there are extenuating circumstances then our cancellation charge may be waived at our discretion.

  • Electric heaters are in the bedrooms, and the communal dining & lounge rooms are heated by a wood fire.  Wood is supplied.

  • Yes, children are welcome! 

    If you require a cot, please let us know at least 7 days prior to your check-in date.  We also have a small number of games & toys located in our TV room/lounge. 

    The Walpole Lodge has a large, grassy backyard for running around in.

  • Yes, we have a large, gas BBQ located on the back verandah, with BBQ utensils located in the kitchen. 

  • No, you will not be sharing with other guests.   All bookings are exclusive. The Lodge has a total of 11 guest rooms and the booking options are either the entire lodge; the 4 ensuite rooms or the 7 communal rooms. Click the Book Now button to see the pricing for each option

    Please note you will only have access to the rooms you chose in your booking – check your confirmation email for the details.
